The Historic Apollo School Restoration
Rehabilitation of the badly neglected former two-room schoolhouse began in 2000 and continued until the building was formally reopened in 2014. This video is a snapshot in time made at the beginning of the project and introduces just some of the community members and businesses without whose generous help this project would not have been successful.

The first speakers in our ongoing “Historically Speaking” oral histories project are long-time Hobe Sounders Art Ondich, Merriam Marr Holt, Zelda Marr Hopkins and Kathy Falk Spurgeon.
